A tractor-trailer fire reduces traffic on I-20 to one lane.
Police say an 18-wheeler caught on fire in the westbound lanes near the Fairfield Avenue exit.
Investigators believe the blaze started in the rear wheel.
Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention Jimmy Hall says, "It was frozen foods. Frzozen chickens to be exact. Frozen chickens that caught on fire. Driver said he heard a pop. His tired blew out in the rear. Probably, the friction started that."
All lanes are open after the burned out trailer is hauled off.
There are no reports of any injuries.
