UPDATE: Police identify two people killed in crash on I-30 in Texarkana

Update: Authorities say both occupants of the 1 ton truck, Dustynn Shrader, 32, of Texarkana, Texas and Mario Zambraro, 21, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, died at the scene.

Authorities say both occupants of the 1 ton truck, Dustynn Shrader, 32, of Texarkana, Texas and Mario Zambraro, 21, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, died at the scene.
 
The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to St. Michael's Hospital for his injuries.

Spokesperson for Bowie-Cass Electric JT Calhoun says that everyone at Bowie-Cass Electric is like family and they are shocked and saddened by the loss of two of their employees today.





Update: 3:15 p.m.

Texarkana, Texas Police tell NBC 6 that two people died Tuesday afternoon in the accident on Interstate-30.



Both east and west bound Interstate-30 will be closed until an accident is cleared in Texarkana, Texas.

The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday on I-30 just westbound of the Nash exit.

Investigators believe that a flatbed 1 ton truck pulling a trailer eastbound on Hampton Rd. lost control and struck the guardrail then entered the westbound lane of I-30 and was struck head on by an 18 wheeler. 

No word yet on any injuries.
