TxDOt launches new web app to save you money

The Texas Department of Transportation kicks off a new campaign Friday that will keep the air clean and cost you less at the gas pump.
The Texas Department of Transportation kicks off a new campaign Friday that will keep the air clean and cost you less at the gas pump.

TxDOT is launching "Roadcents" as part of the "Drive Clean Texas" air quality campaign. 

Roadcents lets you track your vehicle maintenance on your smart phone or computer, and learn ways to reduce emissions and save money by driving smart.

The Drive Clean Texas campaign asks you to make simple changes to your driving and vehicle maintenance behaviors in order to reduce car and truck emissions that contribute to air pollution especially during the hot summer months.
