Riders were provided umbrellas by rescue crews to shade them from the sun.

Prince George’s County crews are attempting a high angle rescue to get the people off the Joker’s Jynx ride. A statement from the park said the cars stopped about 45 feet above the ground and contain 24 people on board.

Video from Chopper 4 shows the cars stuck in a curved part of the track. The park statement said all riders are secure and there are no injuries.
