Warrant issued for stabbing suspect

Police detectives are searching for a local man in connection with a stabbing that occurred this past weekend in Shreveport.

Police detectives are searching for a local man in connection with a stabbing that occurred this past weekend in Shreveport.

 

An arrest warrant issued today charges Richard Mosley, 36, with one count of attempted first degree murder in the stabbing of his estranged wife, Nekedra Mosley, 35, of Shreveport.

 

Shreveport patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West 70th at 2:19 a.m. Saturday. relative to a stabbing. Upon arrival, patrolmen found Nekedra Mosley suffering from multiple lacerations to her upper torso and face. She was subsequently transported to University Health Medical Center by the Shreveport Fire Department with what was described as life-threatening injuries.

 

Investigators immediately responded to the scene of the crime and upon further investigation, discovered information to suggest the victim had been stabbed repeatedly by her Richard Mosley also of Shreveport.

 

Investigators learned the couple had been living separately for several months, during which time Richard Mosley reportedly stalked and threatened to kill his wife.

 

Investigators were successful in securing an arrest warrant, and Mosley’s bond has been set at $200,000.
