An ongoing investigation has lead to the procuring of a warrant for a suspect believed to be involved in a shooting that injured multiple victims last month.
Trezericke Lane, 23, is wanted for his alleged role in a shooting on Fulton Street in May.
Just before midnight on May 9, 2014, Shreveport Police were called to the 3200 block of Fulton Street relative to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims, identified as 36-year-old Shonda Harris, 44-year- old Anthony Moore and 44-year-old Tommie Johnson, each suffering at least one gunshot wound.
All were transported to University Health Center by the Shreveport Fire Department for treatment of serious but reportedly non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives were notified immediately and based on information and other evidence gathered at the scene of the crime, discovered the victims were present at a party at a home on Fulton Street when a physical altercation commenced involving party-goers and a man identified as 36-year-old Jamie Lane.
Following the altercation, Lane left the home only to return a short time later with several other people. At that time Lane and Tommie Johnson engaged in a physical altercation that apparently culminated with gunfire.
Lane was struck in the chest during the shooting, but fled the home. He was located at a residence in the 2500 block of Merwin Street a short time later and transported to University Health Center by the Shreveport Fire Department.
Investigators subsequently arrested Jamie Lane, of the 2900 block of Woodford Street, 19-year-old Antonio Lane, also of the 2900 block of Woodford Street and 20-year-old Tavious Lane, of the 2500 block of Merwin Street.
All of the men have been charged with one count of attempted first degree murder but may face other charges as the investigation continues. Antonio Lane and Tavious Lane were both booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
As a result of investigators’ continuous probe into the shooting, a warrant was issued today for the arrest Trezericke Lane for his alleged role in the shooting.
The warrant charges Lane with a single count of Attempted First Degree Murder. Bond in the matter has been set at 500,000. Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Trezericke Lane to contact Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or on their website at www.lockemup.org
