Woman caught on camera cashing bogus checks

The Bossier Financial Crimes Task Force is trying to track down a Texas woman who allegedly cashed two counterfeit checks at a local business.
The Bossier Financial Crimes Task Force is trying to track down a Texas woman who allegedly cashed two counterfeit checks at a local business.

Last month Tami Asbil, 38, of Abilene, was seen on a security camera cashing two bogus checks for nearly $16,000.

A warrant has been issued for Asbil's arrest on charges of monetary instrument abuse. 

Investigators believe Asbil may be temporarily living in the Shreveport area.  She is a white female, standing 5'5" tall, weighing 250 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair.
