The Dallas Black Dance Theatre wowed the crowd Tuesday evening at Riverview Theatre.
The performance was a part of the Red River Revel. Several hundred people were in attendance.
The performance included a tribute to Marvin Gaye and pianist/ singer Nina Simone.
The dance company is in its 37th year. It has performed in 30 states and 14 countries. The National Endowment for the Arts has designated it an American Masterpiece Touring Artist.
