East Texas honors the fallen with special prayer service

The public was cordially invited to a brief prayer service to honor the memory of the more than 2,900 lives that were lost as a result of the terrorist attack on the United States on September 11, 2001. The prayer service took place this morning on the East side of the Courthouse Square in downtown Marshall.

Members from the various departments of the Harrison County Volunteer Fire Department, along with Marshall Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff's Office, and Marshall Police Department were in attendance, as well as local clergy and officials.
