Emergency officials identify possible cause of tornado siren glitch

The mystery behind recent tornado sirens going off around Texarkana, Texas may soon be solved.
The mystery behind recent tornado sirens going off around Texarkana, Texas may soon be solved.

According to Texarkana, Texas Fire Chief, Eric Schlotter, one cause of the malfunction could be outside radio interference.

A glitch in computer systems caused all of Texarkana, Texas' tornado sirens to sound off on Sunday and Monday.

A test is being performed at noon today at all the siren locations. City sign and signal operators will be on hand during the test to assist emergency officials.
