Family pet shot within view of 10 year old girl

Shreveport Police say a man allegedly shot a neighbors family pet in front of them. The neighbor was a 10 year old girl and her friend, who were playing with her white poodle in their front yard.
Shreveport Police say a man allegedly shot a neighbors family pet in front of them.  The neighbor was a 10 year old girl and her friend, who were playing with her white poodle in the their front yard.

According to the police report, 75 year old Clarence Dunivan, shot the dog when it ran from the neighbors yard into his yard

This all happened at around 4pm in the 500 block of Woodmere Drive.  Police arrested Dunivan and charged him with cruelty to animals.  He was booked into the Shreveport city jail.  Police did say they are not aware of what lead up the shooting.
