BOSSIER CITY, La - Michele Smith passed a golds worth of softball knowledge to Bossier City Little League parents and softball players.
The two time Olympic Gold medalist held a clinic at Airline High School, teaching the the fundamentals of softball and the correct ways to teach the game.
Smith was a pitcher for the United States softball team, winning gold medals in the 1996 Summer games in Atlanta, GA and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
During her decorated softball career, she played professionally in Japan for 16 years.
Currently, Smith is an analyst for ESPN softball broadcasts. She also travels around the United States, holding youth softball clinics.
