Shelly Redmond talks about healthy lunch box options that are easy for parents to put together and appealing for kids. Her go-tos are wraps. Two great recipes she suggests include a pita, peanut butter, honey, green apples and raisins for a unique take on the PB&J. Another is a pita, hummus in place of mayo or mustard, turkey, spinach and tomato. Shelly says whenever you are making a sandwich always double up on the veggies! And remember, Sun Chips are a tasty snack that are 100 % whole grain! Something you don't need to feel bad about including in your kid's lunch boxes.
