The highland neighborhood will grow by thousands this weekend for their signature music fest.
The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary this Saturday at Columbia Park.  When it started, only a few vendors and a few hundred people showed up.  This year, organizers expect 10,000 people and dozens of food, drink and craft booths to pack the park.
It’s become a tradition for many local families.
"The parking can be very difficult.  This year we have free parking at Mall St. Vincent and the I-Shuttle is going to provide free shuttle service and continue all day long," said Ed Dorsey, volunteer.
The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival runs from 10 A.M. until 5 P.M. this Saturday  Expect two stages with six hours of music including headliner Irma Smith, The Soul Queen of New Orleans.
