It's time to sign your daughter up for Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts of Louisiana - Pines to the Gulf Council is recruiting new members.
Our local Girl Scout Council is signing up new Brownies, Juniors, Daisies and Cadets.
Their annual recruitment process is underway and they're hoping to create new troops of girls of all ages. The girl scouts in our area are busy learning new things every year and having new experiences they'll remember for a lifetime.
We spoke with fifth grader, Madalyn Posey, about what she's looking forward to.
"We take trips.  We just our 100 Years of Girls Scouts in Washington DC and I'm looking forward to this trip this year," said Posey.
Breyanna Flowers is a Brownie this year and explains what she learned about being a “true Girl Scout”.
"Helping people from getting sick and we help communities, and people who don't have any homes," said Flowers.
Many troops go camping, take special trips, and of course, they all learn business skills through their annual cookie sales.
