Both finalists for the Caddo Parish Schools superintendent position have passed on re-applying for the position.
Monday afternoon John Dilworth told NBC 6 he's not the person the board is looking for and will not make a second attempt at the job.
Dilworth received six votes from the 12 member board, twice during the first search.
Dr. Mary Nash Robinson, who is now serving as interim superintendent, has also ruled out a second application.
After the first tied vote Dilworth considered withdrawing his name but he didn't because of community support.
Meanwhile, the Caddo Parish School Board is holding a special meeting Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the board room to discuss the new superintendent search.
