Neither finalist for the Caddo Parish Schools superintendent position will reapply. John Dilworth tells NBC 6 News he's not the person the board is looking for and will not make a second attempt at the job.
Neither finalist for the Caddo Parish Schools superintendent position will reapply.  John Dilworth tells NBC 6 News he's not the person the board is looking for and will not make a second attempt at the job.

Despite two separate votes, the 12 member board couldn't break the tie between Dilworth and Mary Nash Robinson.  Robinson is now serving as interim superintendent and will not reapply.

After the first tied vote Dilworth considered withdrawing his name, but he didn't because of community support.

The Caddo Parish School Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday to discuss the new search.  It begins at 3:30pm in the board room.
