The KKK appears to be recruiting in Marshall, Texas.

The Ku Klux Klan appears to be recruiting in east Texas.

Some neighbors in Marshall, Texas found KKK flyers and pamphlets in their driveways on Monday.

People who live on Woodland Street didn’t want to talk on camera, but a few told NBC 6 they're surprised about those flyers being in the neighborhood.

They say their area is very diverse in terms of race and ethnicity.

It says "Wake up White America," and it goes on provide what it says are crime statistics for people with different ethnicities.

However, the flyer doesn't provide sources for the statistics.

The piece of paper came in a plastic bag along with a marble and a peppermint.

One man I spoke to says he found the flyer on Monday, and he thinks homes were targeted.

He says it seemed like only white neighbors got the flyers.

We tried reaching out to Marshall Police Department to see if there's any action police are planning to take with the arrival of these flyers, but we were told the police chief was in meetings for the day and wouldn’t be unavailable for comment.
