Chris Anderson scored 15 points to lead all scorers as the Louisiana Tech men’s basketball team defeated Southern University 69-50 on Saturday night in the Thomas Assembly Center in front of a home crowd of 3,629 fans.
The Bulldogs led by only six at the half after trailing the majority of the first half. The LA Tech defense then turned the intensity up a notch as they outscored the Jags 34-21 in the second half. A 13-2 Bulldog run with ten minutes remaining in the second half helped LA Tech pull away for the victory.
