Man faces charges in Thanksgiving Day stabbing

A man is fighting for his life after an early morning stabbing in Cedar Grove.
A man is fighting for his life after an early morning stabbing in Cedar Grove.

The stabbing happened around 8 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 200 block of W. 79th St.

Dewayne Goins, 53, is accused of stabbing a man during an argument.

The victim was transported to University Health with life-threatening injuries.

Goins was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with attempted second degree murder.
