A DeSoto Parish jury has found a Mansfield man guilty on three counts of Distribution of Cocaine.

It took jurors less than an hour to convict 27-year-old Curtis Jones.

In 2012 agents of the Tri-Parish Drug Task Force developed an operation targeting Jones and caught him selling crack cocaine to various individuals.

Jones also has previous criminal convictions, including a 2011 felony conviction for cocaine possession.

DeSoto District Attorney Richard Z. Johnson, Jr. stated that his office intends to file a habitual offender bill against Jones which means he faces a life sentence, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
