Inclement weather and hazardous road conditions have forced the American Basketball Association (ABA) Dallas Diesel to cancel their trip to the historic Hirsch Coliseum this weekend.
As a result, the much anticipated face off between the Diesel and the Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks originally scheduled for Saturday, December 7 has been postponed. A new time and date will be announced later in the season.
The Mavericks met the Diesel for the first time this season during an exhibition game in early November and again during the ABA Tip-Off Classic mid-month with victorious results (115-89).
Next week, the 6-0 Mavericks have home court advantage when they meet the Texarkana Panthers. The game begins at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 12, in Hirsch Coliseum.
