A north Shreveport community remains on edge after a teenager was shot in the chest at Mamie Hicks Park Tuesday night.
No arrests have been made and police continue to search for suspects.
"This is usually a quiet neighborhood. And it makes me nervous because there's a lot of kids around and the park sits next to an elementary school," said Michelle Sweat.
Gun shots were heard around 7:30 Tuesday night and neighbors saw the 16 year old running from the park and collapsing on Mayfair Drive.
