No. 1 'Bama razes No. 13 LSU

The Tide won their third straight over the Tigers to stay unbeaten
TUSCULOOSA, Al - No. 13 LSU falls to 7-3 with a 38-17 loss to No. 1 Alabama.

The Tigers took a brief 7-3 lead after Jeremy Hill ran for a 3 yard touchdown, but Alabama shut down LSU's run game the rest of the way. The Tide held Hill to a mere 41 yards rushing, while limiting the LSU team to 43 yards total on the ground.

LSU quarterback Zack Mettenberger threw for 241 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

The Tigers have a bye week before hosting No. 15 Texas A&M in Baton Rouge on Nov. 23rd.
