Offense ignites in LSU season opener

Tigers erupt for 37 points against vaunted TCU defense
ARLINGTON, TX - 11 players vacated LSU's defense for the NFL in 2013, but an NFL caliber offensive weapon named Cam Cameron walked onto Les Miles' staff.

Cameron was charged with liberating a conservative, low-octane offense, and after one game it appears he's done his job.

LSU put up 449 yards of total offense and 37 points on a vaunted TCU defense that features a highly-regarded secondary. Quarterback Zack Mettenberger was an efficient 16-32, throwing for 251 yards and one touchdown in the Tigers season-opening win.
