The future of a Bossier Parish school remains uncertain. Wednesday night, superintendent, D.C. Machen assured neighbors the closed Charlotte Ann Mitchell Educational Center will keep its name.
The future of a Bossier Parish school remains uncertain. Wednesday night, superintendent, D.C. Machen assured neighbors the closed Charlotte Ann Mitchell Educational Center will keep its name.

The district has entered a cooperative agreement with the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office. The building will be used for the Young Marines and DARE programs for the next three years.

The meeting was organized by Bishop Larry Brandon and Glen Stroud. The group wants to come up with a permanent plan for the school.
