Local advocates at the Philadelphia Center are reaching out to the community in Logansport after a man is arrested for possibly intentionally spreading HIV to at least 13 people, including an underage relative.
"If he had unprotected sex with them, they need to be tested now and three months later to be sure. HIV and AIDS is not a death sentence but we need to know as soon as possible so they can live a normal life," outreach advocate Alleen King-Carter said.
A prayer service has been scheduled for Sunday Jan. 19th
5pm at St. Luke Baptist Church in Logansport.
The Philadelphia Center will be there to offer outreach and educational materials.
