On Thursday, Susan G. Komen, Texarkana welcomed the Pink Ribbon Plane.

American Eagle has eight different planes that go to difference places hosting the Race for the Cure.

In Texarkana, there was a bit of a mixup, so the actual plane didn't make it.

Bu the meaning was still there.

Survivors and Komen Representatives met the crew and took some pictures.

"It's just exciting to know that American Airlines and American Eagle support us," said Race Co-Chair Laura LaCroix. "The race here in Texarkana isn't the biggest race, but we still have support of our national sponsors and that's great for us."

Susan G. Komen, Texarkana is hosting their Walk for the Cure this Saturday.

Registration can be done the day of, and starts at 7am.
