Record-breaking year for NLA Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

A record crowd comes out for the North Louisiana Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

It’s a record breaking year for the North Louisiana Gay and Lesbian film festival.

It's being held at the Robinson Film Center through next Thursday. 11 films and
documentaries are showing.

On Saturday, there was a reception featuring actors Del Shores and William Belli. Leslie Jordan even stopped by from ‘Will and Grace.”

The film " Southern Baptist Sissies" sold out Saturday tonight.

"It's grown each year and this year has been spectacular,” said Adrienne Critcher, of Pace. “Our celebrity film sold out in two hours and our reception sold out a couple of
weeks ago."

More than 200 people came out Friday and Saturday to support the festival.

"Valentine Road", is a documentary about an eighth grader from California who was killed after he invited another boy to be his valentine. It's the first film on the schedule for Sunday. It starts at 1:15 pm.
