The local Red Cross held their last health fair of the year today at Broadmoor Baptist.

Hundreds of folks lined up this morning to get their blood drawn, and hopefully stay healthy.

The local Red Cross held their last health fair of the year today at Broadmoor Baptist.
They offer low-cost, convenient access to vital health checks several times a year.

Full blood screens including cholesterol, glucose, even prostate cancer for men.

The turn-out for the fair kept area nursing students busy practicing their technique.

Reed Brown with the Red Cross says the fair is also a good way to detect a possible disease that needs treatment. It's a great value too since hundreds of dollars in lab tests cost less than fifty dollars through the red cross health fair.
