Shreveport teen faces attempted murder charges

A teenager is locked up in connection with a double shooting in a Shreveport neighborhood.

Demarcy Armstrong, 18, was taken into custody shortly after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 400 block of Mayfair Dr.

Armstrong is accused of shooting two men back on Dec. 30.

Investigators believe Armstrong was engaged in the sale or purchase of illegal drugs when he got into an argument with the two men and shot them.

Armstrong was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.  His bond has been set at 130,000.
