Students at Southern University Shreveport have teamed up with the MultiCultural Center for the first ever "Taste of Culture" event.
SUSLA is a diverse campus and twelve different cultures were represented in the cook-off.
"We have a dynamic staff and such an inclusive community that this is a great event. It also shows students that the MultiCultural Center is a wonderful place for information," history professor Joaunne Walker said.
