Suspected armed robber in Shreveport locked up

A man accused of robbing four men at gunpoint is now in Shreveport City Jail.
A scary morning for four Shreveport men: their walk home turns into an armed robbery.

Shreveport Police say around 3:00 a.m., the victims were standing outside their car in the 1700 block of Gilbert, when a purple Chevy Impala, with three men inside, drove up.

The driver got out, pulled a gun and demanded money.

Once the driver got the money and other belongings, he sped off.

After gathering details, police found the Impala at a home in the 200 block of Herndon Street.

They arrested 29-year-old Demond Robinson at the home, and booked him on four counts of armed robbery.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
