"It just keeps coming."

That's what some in Texarkana say about Friday's rain showers.

The storms started Thursday night and went all the way into Friday evening.

Emergency Management Personnel and other law enforcement say that there was no significant damage from the storms.

There were a few reports of vehicles sliding off of roadways, but no major incidents.

One of the biggest problems was flooding.

Buchanan Road off of Lake Drive and McKneight were two problem areas.

Officials say water rose to about 3 feet on Buchanan Road, trapping at least one vehicle.

TxDot officials stationed crews on McKneight where water levels continued to rise and began flooding the roadway.

Some schools made the decision to cancel their Friday night football games including:

-Tyler Lee vs. Texas High
-Parkway vs. Arkansas High.

The Texas High game has been rescheduled for Saturday (9/21) at 2:30. Gates will open at 1:30.

The moisture is much needed and we saw a lot of it (by 3:30 there were reports of 8.5 inches of rainfall in Texarkana).

So much so, that Miller County has lifted their burn ban.
