Two more employees from Opportunities Inc. have been arrested in connection with an ongoing child abuse investigation.

On Monday Chametra Robinson, 40, and Felicia Duckett, 37, both of Texarkana, Arkansas were taken into custody by authorities.

Investigators believe that, while neither Robinson nor Duckett actually took part in the physical assault on a 4-year-old boy, they did nothing to prevent it or report it to authorities.

Robinson and Duckett were booked into the Bi-State Jail and charged with Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled-Criminal Negligence.

The bond for Robinson and Duckett was reduced from $100,000 to $20,000 each by the magistrate after placing additional conditions on the two women.

Last week, officers arrested Virginia Smith of Texarkana, Texas after the child's mother noticed bruises on his head.
An investigation revealed that the child while under the care of Smith at Opportunities Inc., received numerous blows to his head and body with what was believed to be a shoe.

Smith was released from jail on Dec. 27 after posting bond on her charges.
