The NBC 6/Landers Fiat Spirit Stick makes history this week.  For the first time, a Texarkana school takes the title.
Texas High Tigers didn't disappoint, even though students actually had the day off for a teacher in-service day!
The Tigers are tied together.
"We’re all about being family, being together, helping each other, working together, and it shows in our school spirit," said Brad Bailey, Principal.
They live by a simple theme you can read on their wrists.
"We've got these bracelets as you can see called 'Tiger Strong'," said Bailey.
This is a family.  For starters, fitting in, isn't hard.
"There's tons of clubs here because it’s such a big school.  You're bound to find at least ten people that have the same interests as you... Go out and find them.  Make the big school small," said Ben Norton, student council president.
The Tigers are making memories that will last a lifetime.
"It really goes by fast... but this year, I'm ready to take it slow and cherish every moment of it," said Chau Dong, homecoming queen.
Just like the orange they wear, Texas High's school spirit shines bright, it can't be contained - the clear choice to win our NBC 6 Spirit Stick.
"It takes a lot of pride to be part of Texas High School," said Bailey.
In the stands, or on the field, the Tigers are on the prowl.
"I've grown up around Texas High School all my life and to come out my senior year to win a district championship would be amazing," said Anthony Rhone, football player.
And we feel sorry for anyone who becomes their prey.
