Thieves face charges for stealing trailer

Two people from Texarkana have been charged in connection with a trailer theft in Bowie Co.

On Wednesday a truck was spotted driving eratically through the Echo Hills subdivision.

When deputies tried to stop the truck, the driver sped away and later jumped out of the vehicle.

The two passengers who remained in the truck Jamie Choate, 50, and Tracy Delese, 47, were taken into custody.

The registered owner of the trailer was contacted and confirmed that his trailer had been stolen.

Choate and Delese were booked into the Bi-State Jail and charged with Theft Over $500 and Under $1500. Their bonds have been set at $5000 each.

A warrant for Theft Over $500 and Under $1500 has been issued for the driver of the truck, 33-year-old Michael Ingram.
