Two behind bars for using minor to solicit sex for money

Two people face human trafficking charges after they allegedly brought a minor to Bossier City for prostitution purposes.

Vice officers arrested Qualyn Mitchell, 30, of Alexandria, and Erica Campbell, 26, of Dallas, during an undercover prostitution sting.

Investigators used the internet to arrange a meeting with a suspected prostitute at a local motel room.

When officers arrived, they made contact with a 16-year old female. They also learned that Mitchell and Campbell brought the girl from Dallas, Texas to engage in prostitution.

Mitchell and Campbell are in the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.  Mitchell also was booked on a drug charge after officers found marijuana in his possession.

The teenager was released to the custody of Child Protection Services.
