Update: Man dies after falling into Cross Lake

Orlando Chapman, who owned "Brother's Seafood" is dead after an incident on Cross Lake.
UPDATE 5:38pm
Friends identify the man as Orland Chapman, who owned "Brothers Seafood."  They believe he may have had some kind of medical problem before falling into the water. 

ORIGINAL STORY

Authorities say a man who was rescued from Cross Lake this afternoon has died.

Scott Wolverton with the Shreveport Fire Department says the man passed away shortly after being transported to Willis-Knighton North.

The man, who was in his early 50s,  fell into the water around 2 p.m. at Melvin's Marina in the 1500 block of Cross Lake Blvd.  The man's friend was in the boat next to him when he saw the man fall into the water.

Two divers found the man under his boat in about 8 to 10 feet of water.  The man had been under water for about 25 minutes.
