Three superintendents in three years and now the Webster Parish School Board is forced to find another one.
The board voted Tuesday night to renew Steve Dozier's contract through January. It expires next month and he had planned to step down.
Tuesday he agreed to serve on an interim basis until his replacement is found. Board members also agreed for the school system to cover his housing costs.
Morris Busby was expected to take over at the end of Dozier's contract, but decided to retire instead.
At the next meeting on July 29th the board will discuss a timeline for the next superintendent search.
