Severe Weather Threat Late Friday Night

While there is a severe weather for Friday night, most of your Friday should be just fine.  We should see partly cloudy skies during the day with a 20% chance for some storms.  Once we get passed 9pm this evening, storms will be possible in SE Oklahoma into NE Texas mainly north of Interstate 30.  Some storms could be severe.  As the system moves east, it will have a tough time holding together.  However, there is still a risk for strong to severe storms in areas mainly along and north of I-30 through the early morning pre-dawn hours.  Once we get to sunrise tomorrow, the threat for rain and storms will diminish.

Highs today will be in the middle 80s and lows tonight in the 60s.  Gusty northwest winds are expected tomorrow, helping to usher in some drier and cooler air.
