Thursday evening update: A much more quiet weather pattern will set up as we move into the weekend with normal July temperatures returning. For Friday morning expect areas of patchy fog to develop with temperatures in the low 70s. Morning clouds could slow the warmup for a few hours but the sun will return warming high temperatures into the mid 90s areawide during the afternoon. The tail end of a cold front will bring the potential for an isolated shower or t'storm during the afternoon south of I-20 but most will stay dry. Highs climb into the upper 90s this weekend before a cold front cools us down and brings the potential for a few heavy rains next week. - Josh Marcisz
