MORE WINTER PRECIPITATION POSSIBLE!
Monday Evening Update: Temperatures will be up and down for the next few days. Look for a quick and dramatic warm up Tuesday. Despite lots of clouds and thanks to a breezy south wind, temperatures will soar into the 60s and 70s. Another cold front will bring an end to the taste of spring Wednesday. Rain will be likely Wednesday as the front moves through. At the end of this event it is still looking likely that we will see some kind of winter precipitation Wednesday evening and Wednesday night. Right now it appears that the most likely type will be freezing rain. Ice accumulation will be confined to exposed surfaces such as bridges. It will be heaviest along and north of the I-30 corridor where temperatures dip below freezing sooner. We will then experience another warming trend with highs returning to the 60s by the beginning of next week. There is a chance that we could see more rain this weekend.
Keep in mind that we are still a few days away from Wednesday night's winter event. Some change in the outlook is possible if not likely. Stay Tuned!! --Todd Warren
