Tuesday Evening Update:

A series of disturbances will keep the off an on chance for showers and thunderstorms in our weather picture for most of the week ahead.  A few storms that develop this evening to our west along the Red River could become severe and move over the northern part of our area overnight.  They will likely be weakening some as they move in.  Most of Wednesday will be dry, but more storms will develop late tomorrow and tomorrow night.  These too could be strong to severe.  The main concerns will be for large hail and damaging wind if we see any severe weather.  Right now our severe risk according to SPC is 'slight' or on a scale of 1 to 5...2.  We'll see another shot as some t'storms Friday.  Saturday is looking dry to start the Easter weekend.  It still looks as if rain will be likely Easter Sunday with highs in the lower 60s.  Severe weather is not a concern at this point for Easter.  --Todd Warren
