Tia Mowry shares her child’s struggle with a peanut allergy

Celebrity mom Tia Mowry is joining a campaign to tell her personal story and ignite a national dialogue around the challenges of protecting her son with a peanut allergy. Her seven-year-old son, Cree, is among the 1.5 million children in the United States, or 1-in-50 kids who are allergic to peanuts. In fact, since 2010, the number of children with a peanut allergy has jumped 21 percent.

Tia Mowry along with Dr. Jacqueline Pongracic, head of Allergy and Immunology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, share about the importance of the Talking Peanut Allergy campaign, the emotional impact for parents, children and more.
