LOVING LIVING LOCAL – Biskie and Josh head to the kitchen to make tea cakes. Below is a list of ingredients and instructions you’ll need to complete this recipe. 

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 4 C. ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1 1/4 C. SUGAR
  • 1 TBSP BAKING POWDER 
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 2 STICKS OF BUTTER SOFTENED 
  • 3 EGGS
  • 3 TBSP HEAVY CREAM 
  • 1 TSP VANILLA 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. WHISK DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND SET ASIDE. BLEND BUTTER, & SUGAR TOGETHER THEN ADD THE EGGS, CREAM & VANILLA. 
  2. ADD FLOUR MIXTURE ONE CUP AT A TIME SCRAPING DOWN SIDES. 
  3. FORM INTO A BALL COVER BOWL AND REFRIGERATE FOR 30 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR. 
  4. ROLL OUT ON FLOURED SURFACE AND ROLL OUT TO 1/4 INCH THICKNESS. 
  5. USE 3″ COOKIE CUTTER. PLACE ON BAKING SHEET IN 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 10-12 MINUTES. 
  6. LET COOL 10 MINUTES BEFORE TRANSFERRING TO WIRE RACK.
