Four vacant houses damaged in downtown Shreveport fire

Four vacant homes in downtown Shreveport were damaged by fire late Wednesday night. Two were destroyed. 

It happened in the 1200 block of Travis St. just after 9 p.m. It took firefighters about 24 minutes to get the flames under control and keep them from spreading further. There are no reports of injuries. 

Investigators have been called in to determine the cause of the fire.
