MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) – Marshall police identified a man Monday suspected of a shooting that injured two people.

According to the Marshall Police Department, the shooting happened at a Citi Trends store around 4:15 p.m. Monday evening. Two women were wounded and taken to Christus Good Shepherd Marshall for treatment.

Police say the suspect, Montrell Antwon Hatton, was firing shots as they arrived on the scene but was gone before officers entered the store. Warrants were issued for his arrest. He is believed to be driving a late model white 4-door Chevrolet pickup truck. Officials say he is considered armed and dangerous.
