SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The coroner’s office has identified the husband who was allegedly fatally shot by his wife early Monday morning.

Officers responded to an emergency call just after 3:00 a.m. at a home in the 3100 block of Regent Street, with emergency medical services arriving shortly after. When they arrived, police found 45-year-old Larry Clark dead inside the home with a gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit were called to the scene, where the victim’s wife, 43-year-old Charlene Henderson, was later taken into custody.

After further investigation, police say Henderson was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail. She is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

No other information is available as the investigation is still ongoing.
