1 arrested, 1 sought in drive-by shooting incident

(3/5/19) One man has been arrested and another suspect is wanted in a recent drive-by shooting incident that nearly hit 3 children inside of a home.

The sheriff’s office arrested 20-year-old Isaiah Walter and are searching for Kenaquan Mayfield who was also involved in the incident.

According to the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office, investigators have made one arrest and are searching for a second suspect in a drive-by shooting that occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Blacksmith Road where victims reported that a vehicle occupied by at least two black males had fired numerous gunshots in their direction.

Investigation revealed that at least two different firearms had been fired into a parked car and the residence.

One round traveled through a window of the residence narrowly missing three children.

Investigators developed information which led to the arrest of Isaiah Fritz Walter, 20, of School Street, Ringgold on nine counts of attempted first degree murder. An arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect while Walter remains lodged in the Bienville Parish Jail under $1,000,000 bond.
