The 2018 Shamrock Shuffle + Kid’s Fun Run will be held Saturday, March 17 at 9 AM – 12 PM at Marilynn’s Place located at 4041 Fern Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana 71105.
A family fun event brought to you by the Barksdale Officers’ Spouses’ Club (BOSC). This race helps raise funds for the BOSC scholarship program, and local/national military charities – all with a larger focus on local service members and their families.
Entry Fee: 5K pre-registration – $20 by March 3; $25 from March 4- March 16; $30 on race morning. Sleep In Supporter – $20. Kid’s Fun Run – $8. *All registrations include one t-shirt.
Packets & T-shirts: Pick-up at Red River Brewing Company (1200 Marshall St., Shreveport) on Thursday, March 15 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., & Friday, March 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Packets & t-shirts will also be available on race day at Marilynn’s Place at 7:30
a.m. *Shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants.
Awards & Age Groups: Overall male & female 5K finishers will receive a special award. 1st & 2nd place male & female finishers will receive a medal in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+.
Immediately following the race, join us for a fun after party at Marilynn’s Place! Bouncy house and free kids activities provided by The Warrior Network. Balloon artist, face painting + more!
Last year, with great community support, the BOSC was able to contribute several thousand dollars to charities and $24,000 for military scholarships.
